Very Good

It was quite hot in the rooms and it made it uncomfortable to sleep.

Reasonably comfortable hotel.
The room was good. Reasonable size with table/desk. Bathroom was OK with towels and soap. Breakfast was good with some choice and a comfortable breakfast room. I didn't look at the view because it was pouring with rain all night and in the morning. The bar was good and I had a snack meal there. There was football on the TVs in the bar.
Getting into the car park was a problem as I have a left hand drive car. I had to get out (in the rain) to press the button linking to reception. They then opened the barrier. However by the time I walked round to the left side of the car the barrier closed. This happened twice until I asked reception to wait before opening the barrier. This worked. The car park is not in great condition and drains were overwhelmed with rain!

Disappointed this time.
Stayed here many times before, it's convenient.
Price hiked £10 from Wed to Thurs. I couldn't book earlier because I wasn't sure which side of the river I'd be. Hiking the price doesn't help someone working and having to judge the traffic over the bridge. Room has No Smoking signs - but it stank of stale smoke, not impressed. Breakfast seemed ok at the time ..... but went right through me within an hour. Will need to think about staying here again :(

Rooms where very old and decor needs updating its 2020 now and looks like something my Nan would have! Breakfast was so small it come out on a saucer
