It was quite hot in the rooms and it made it uncomfortable to sleep.

In the evening bar maid kept disappearing, leaving us waiting to order our drinks . The decor needs upgrading .

Loved the views and room was large and comfortable, good food and staff were friendly I had a good stay.
Despite saying no pre-payment when booking (one of the reasons I booked here) they then proceeded to “pre-authorise” my card the day after I booked I was expecting this to be a small “hold” amount but they “held” the full amount of one nights stay! They need to tell people this is what they expect at the time of booking. They also asked “how are you going to pay” before taking order for dinner and before serving drinks!

Good
The room was very clean and tidy, and we had a lovely kingsized bed.
We went for the Tina Turner tribute act. It was awful. Performer wasn't a very good singer, sang some songs by other artists and spent far too much time getting the audience to participate in a twerk off game. Would not go and see her again. We asked for a view of the lake and had a huge tree blocking our view. Pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast wasn't great, black bits on my poached egg, which was hard, as was the 'fried' tomato.
